Many people have the
notion that attending a
Christian camp is all fun and games. However, leaders of such
organizations want to contest the fact that they are not... often time is set aside for everyone to get alone and serious with their creator. To them, these camps were organized to help individuals clear
up their mind from the mundane concerns of the society.
Inward

Some people are drawn
to Christian camps since they think it’ll help them achieve that
“spiritual transformation”—some are not. However, the leaders themselves believe that transformation solely relies on the
person’s willingness to change. Part and parcel of that is to be a
socially responsible person – having an open mind on how you can
possibly contribute to the society.
More than just a
breather
By attending Christian
camps, you can easily free your mind from distractions. Daily
activities and responsibilities keep you preoccupied and may even
distract you from focusing on the Lord. The goal of Christian camps
is to help individuals socialize with other Christians and thus
develop a sense of belongingness.
A loving support
group
There are those times
when you think that you are consumed by your duties and other
concerns in this life, and the best way out that you can think of is
social withdrawal. If you start attending Christian camps, you will
soon realize that life is best enjoyed when you have a support group
behind you.
